Asus GeForce GTX 1080 11Gbps Strix OC Overclocking
With GPU Tweak II, we were able to set a power limit of 120 percent and a temperature limit of 92°C.
With these settings, the GPU was happy with an extra 60MHz pumped through it, giving us final overclocked frequencies of 1,756MHz base and 1,895MHz boost. Going by the base, this is a 3.5 percent overclock, which isn't a lot, but the increased power and temperature limits should allow for boosting beyond this level.
The memory was stable up to 11.7Gbps, which is a six percent boost. This tallies with what we've seen from other cards that use this latest 11Gbps GDDR5X, although a few have managed to get a bit higher.
